From the Beach to the Slopes?

Last time I posted, I mentioned we were planning to visit Acadia National Park here in Maine. We went, and we got the nicest weather of our whole stay here for it. It was warm enough for us to picnic at the ocean and climb around on Cadillac Mountain (the first place from which you can see the sunrise in the US).
Now, just less than a month later, we’re wearing gloves, hats, and snow boots. This morning we woke up to a white world. This was actually the fourth snow of our visit, but it feels like the first. The real first one didn’t stay; the second we missed when we were in Connecticut for Thanksgiving. It did snow yesterday, but we left for a meeting to the south of where we’re staying, and didn’t get home until 11pm. So, as I said, this feels like the first snow.
Hopefully we don’t get snowed in. We have one more meeting at a church here in Maine this Wednesday. Our last meeting of the fall is in Connecticut this Sunday. And then it’s home for Christmas!
